Second only to the National Sponsorship program, the New York Live Auction is the most important aspect in raising additional proceeds for the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and its Department of Athletics. The New York Live Auction is comprised of approximatly 10-14 luxury items and takes places during the dinner reception of the New York Blue & Gray Golf Classic. The auction raises anywhere from $20,000-$50,000 annually and is crucial to the fund raising program. Last year, the auction raised approximatly $24,000.
