The United States Merchant Marine Academy Alumni Association & Foundation is asking you to support the 22th Annual Blue & Gray Golf Classic. This is the most important fundraiser the Academy holds throughout the year. This event brings together USMMA alumni, parents and supporting maritime organizations to help raise over $300,000 for the Academy’s intercollegiate athletic programs.

 

The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy is one of the country’s five (5) U.S. Federal Academies, accepting students from all 50 states. One of the foremost institutions in the field of maritime education, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy competes at the NCAA Division III level in 23 intercollegiate athletic teams. Over two-thirds of the Regiment of Midshipmen participates in varsity athletics, while the entire Regiment uses the Athletic Department to maintain its Physical Education requirements. The department relies heavily on contributions and proceeds raised from the Blue and Gray Golf Classics.

 

The 22th Annual Blue & Gray Golf Classic will be held at the prestigious Engineers and North Shore Country Clubs on Monday, July 29, 2013. Following the round of golf, our participants will take part in auctions and raffles comprised of gift-in-kind contributions from thousands businesses across the country.

 

The USMMA Alumni Association & Foundation is the 501(c)3 charitable organization that supports the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. Your contribution is 100% tax deductible and will go to help raise thousands of dollars for the Merchant Marine Academy.
